Defend earth
For me this is the issue that all issues reduce to - defending the earth. The issue of Unity is not whether we defend the earth but how much? The 1% are exploiting the earth for their own profits, and as we are united against the 1% then it is still a united position to defend the earth from their exploitation. For me the method of defending the earth is to reduce consumption, and by reducing consumption we are helping reduce the need for resource exploitation. How far we go in terms of this mindful consuming is a personal choice and is not a matter of shaming each other. But we should be shaming the 1% whose exploitation of the planet for their own profits is risking all life on earth. >
