Oil Production Table

1%-Oil - Successful Insanity 80 Years on

This is only a view - a view with limited experience. It is hard to see the truth in daily life when you are not part of the 1% - and maybe hard for them to see, yet it seems so true - so insanely true.

Situation at end of WW2

It is 1945, and imperialism has consolidated in the US after European power has been decimated in the “World War 2”. The US now dominated African neo-colonialism, and there is starting the US heyday in daily life that Trump idealises superficially.

The 1% needs to control oil; whilst bill does not understand the ramifications of this statement there are so many indicators that the 1% controlling oil at all cost is central to their accumulation. In 1945 they did not have control of oil, and there was a risk that oil interests would unite in an Arab oil bloc; Middle Eastern (OPEC) oil could be united through language and religion excluding the US.

Along came the Jews to be manipulated. Post-war quite rightly there was strong pro-Jewish sentiment after the failure to support the Jews adequately against the Nazis, and quite naturally the Jews were calling for a homeland - an ongoing theme for Jews. The 1% saw that they could use this call to destabilise the potential for Arab oil control.

Revisionist Zionists - not Jews

The 1% had no interest in the human ideal of a Jewish homeland but were interested in the potential for a wider Zionist homeland - that expansion suited their needs. Within Jewish culture there are Jews who not only wanted a Jewish homeland, they wanted that homeland to be Greater Israel - see map below.

Ben Gurion was the first prime minister of Israel and was the head of the World Zionist Organisation. There was a “conflict” between established zionism at the time and Revisionist Zionism guided by Ze’ev Jabotinsky who sought Eretz Israel by force. One view of Ben Gurion is that he tactically accepted a two-state solution with a long-term desire of a Jewish state for the whole of Palestine. Revisionist Zionism however was more interested in Eretz Israel - Greater Israel in the map below. As with all political movements there is a long history of activism, but most recently that revisionist zionism has taken hold of the Likud party and Benjamin Netanyahu is its leader. In other words 80 years on the leader of Israel has a policy of a greater Israel - the exact expansionism the 1%-oil wanted in 1945.

Detaching and stepping back from all the human players and misery, the post-war desire of the 1% to create an expansionist buffer in the Middle East to prevent a united Moslem Arabia to be in charge of the oil has been successful.

More Detailed geopolitics

Consider the geopolitics. Islam was expansionist - not militarily - as US imperialism so there was a risk of the US losing control of the oil. Across North Africa through the Middle East to Iran and Afghanistan, there was the potential for unity and control of a significant vast majority proportion of global oil. But if Revisionist Zionist expansionism was placed in the middle of the Arab bloc the interests of US imperialism - 1%-oil - would be satisfied.

Let us examine the harm - war, bloodshed and horror - this 1%-oil decision has led to. With the post-war exodus Palestinians suffered - they had been suffering under the British prior to the war, establishing Israel was particularly damaging. When you look at the suffering around Israel it is difficult to understand in humane terms - the world negotiates for a stable two-state solution since 1945 but the revisionist-zionists as 1%-oil strategy just needed weapons to expand - weapons supplied by NATO, US and UK. Now this expansion is genocidal in Gaza yet they still receive weapons - sufficient to expand their Likud-zionism against Iran.

Examine the wars and divisions in the Arab world 80 years on. North Africa has been divided from the Gulf states (Saudi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Yemen). On the East of the Gulf states there has been war in Afghanistan first with Russia and then against the Taliban for 25 years, and the threat of war in Iran throughout that time - firstly the Iran-Iraq war and now with Israel promoted by the US for years. On the West and into North Africa is division and instability. Starting with Iran-Iraq war, then dealing with Iraq’s dictatorship through Saddam (supported by the US against Iran), Iraq is now completely destabilised.

Israel has made constant incursions into Lebanon including a war in the 80s. Syria is the latest Arab country to fold under these international pressures. War between Jordan and Israel had existed since the foundation of Israel and ended with a treaty in the 90s, as well as ongoing skirmishes between Egypt and Israel.

Now consider this map of Greater Israel - the revizionist objective. Israel as a non-expansionist Jewish homeland does not suit the purposes of 1%-oil but Greater Israel dividing the Arab world ensures that oil cannot be dominated by Arabia as a language and Arabia as a Moslem religion.

What 1%-oil has used and what many ordinary westerners do not understand, the Middle East is a collection of dictatorships. Iran and Afghanistan dominated by religious dictatorships once Iran had overthrown the royal dictatorship of the Shah. Saddam’s dictatorship of Iraq was overthrown ironically at one stage using the pretence of democracy concerning Kuwait. Syria’s dictatorship has now gone with the country decimated. Jordan’s dictatorship is manipulated as it tries to survive the risk of war.

And further West Libya’s defiant (of imperialism) resistance by the dictatorship of Qadafi was destroyed.

In Nigeria most of the oil is in the Christian South but the country is in ongoing religious turmoil with the Moslems in the North - capital in the North at Abidjan whilst there is Christian capital in Lagos. And ongoing fighting in the oil regions of the South.

Oil Production Table

Look at this table of oil production:-

When we look at this table it takes little further analysis to see global conflict as the 1% of the US attempts to control the world’s oil. If you choose to accept this view then most of post-ww2 global conflict revolves around 1%-accumulation based on oil.

Why insane? Are the deaths in these wars-for-profit not enough insanity? But exploitation of oil is leading to planetary destruction, is it not insane to destroy where we live? What was the response when science warned of this resource destruction? Instead of moving away from oil - thus losing accumulation, accumulation started a propaganda war against science under the disguise of denial etc. With this denial propaganda we now have people not connecting oil with planetary extinction, isn’t that insane?
