zandtao completed the first draft of pathtivism by mid-2025 soon after completing the pre-review zeer-consciousness. Reviewing and revising zeer-consciousness took a while but has been finished and available a different while.
zandtao thought pathtivism would be a similar approach to zeer-consciousness but it has been far different. Soon after completing zeer-consciousness zandtao started his pathtivist advice list LINK - that he calls zandbagging or zandtao's bag. It started as offering just a few viewpoints but has turned into a detailed process of consolidation concerning pathtivism and the book. This consolidation is not dissimilar to the process of consolidation that went on over the retirement years that led to zeer-consciousness.
But zandtao does not envisage such a long consolidation. Zandbagging is consolidating around tathata sila and hegemony - and of course activism. Pathtivism is path-activism - what the path brings to activism. There was a big insight seeing the path as compassionate liberation but now tathata is the main focus. For zandtao tathata arose from zeer-consciousness, so tathata would be the clear seeing from however the seeker develops their path. How that tathata works for a pathtivist is now written in the 2 pinned advice - tathata, conviction and sila and tathata - seeing accumulation and hegemony.
With the consolidation zandtao hopes to bring these insights of compassionate liberation and tathata to pathtivism.
