Patriarchy - System-for-the-rich
In the intro-vision it was the intention to present a simple vision of ,em>what it’s all for. What is most important about thezeer is how we can learn to go beyond this materialism, and develop a way of enjoying life, following nature’s path and not contributing to the conditioning that is so damaging.
But maybe it can help if you understand the system-for-the-rich more, and it can be studied. In the 2nd part of Real Love  zandtao looked at love and patriarchy using bell hooks book “All about Love: New Visions with bell hooks”. In this and other of her books she gave a clear description of patriarchy as imperialist, white-supremacist, capitalist patriarchy. For some this description of patriarchy might appear too radical or maybe you consider it too radical as a description of system-for-the-rich?
As part of the Seeker Story, zandtao asks seekers to come to terms with the system as this patriarchy. Because of all the conditioning a true vision can be obfuscated intentionally. With different backgrounds and personal histories it might be difficult to see the full complexity of this system-for-the-rich as patriarchy. .zandtao argues that seeing the system-for-the-rich as patriarchy is the clearest way of seeing it but it is for each individual to see how they can.
.zandtao found bell hooks’ book useful for understanding love and patriarchy, but he did not study all of bell hooks’ books. What he always liked about her writing was that it was challenging, it asked questions that were not often asked. Enquiry is an initial process for understanding and rejecting conditioning and conformity so such challenging is beneficial. For these reasons zandtao advocates working towards an understanding of the system-for-the-rich as patriarchy. Each individual must decide how far they want to develop the vision-with-delusion, throughout thezeer zandtao uses the intro-vision as sufficient.
But enquiry is part of any good practice, and if anyone challenges with questions then a seeker needs an answer for themselves - not accepting the answers of others. It is up to you to challenge yourself to ensure that you are not responding in a conditioned manner. Patriarchy is very much a trigger word for many people, as part of your practice enquire until there are no triggered attachments to patriarchy - to any word.
And with the understanding of patriarchy comes the ability to detach and enjoy the spiritual world of the path. That is the purpose of path in the conditioned world.
