Zeer vision
Out of compassionate liberation comes vision - what zandtao has chosen to call zeer vision. So far he has used this vision to see the system-of-accumulation and its developments - the Donroe doctrine as a development of the system-of-accumulation fits in with that. Using "zeer vision" to observe the system-of-accumulation is within the zandbagging purview but no attempt at detail as that might lead to attachment and immersion for him esp. with regards to time management; he must be mindful as to the limits of this boundary.
3 egos of pathtivism
Out of the path of compassionate liberation comes pathtivism, and 3 egos can develop from this understanding:-
Compassion ego
Freedom ego
Activist's ego
Compassion ego
A spiritual description of compassion is freedom from suffering for all, and from this description we can see how the ego develops. Ego says we must all follow this ego so immediately we have a tacit acceptance that all must be free from suffering even if that restricts the freedom of others. As soon as there is that acceptance, individual freedoms become restricted.
Systemically socialism can be seen as a compassion-system in which freedom from suffering becomes conflated with a certain level of income and basic living requirements. This brings with it a level of wealth parity, and restrictions on wealth. Given that the global system is the system-of-accumulation, then consequences of that system impact all countries including countries that support socialism; such impact has included destabilisation and sanctions in the past, Venezuela has been impacted in this way. Because there is acceptance by the socialist system to restrict freedoms then the impact of the global system measures on socialism will increasingly restrict freedoms within a socialist country.
Compassion arises out of freedom from conditioning and conformity, and as we practice we release further egos that have been conditioned or conformed leading towards compassionate liberation. Compassion without freedom is not balanced and has egoic consequences such as socialism. On an individual level compassion makes for better relationships including sila, but systemically restriction freedom is a big problem esp within the system-of-accumulation.
The compassion ego brings with it a sense of righteousness often blaming the lack of compassion in others for their own egoic behaviour and for systemic failure. As with all egos an inner journey will reduce the blaming through releasing this ego, and bring with it the tolerance of compassionate liberation.
Freedom Ego
Through our upbringing we develop conditioning and conformity, and the earlier stages of awareness is concerned with developing freedom from this conditioning and conformity. In adults without some of this freedom freedom itself becomes the priority; and without this freedom, the freedom ego can cause all sorts of problems.
Freedom ego demands freedom from all restrictions irrespective of sila (sila is the inherent moral integrity that arises with compassionate liberation); freedom is such a strong demand and priority from those who don't feel free. Out of egoic protection ego always looks outward, this means that instead of seeing the need to be free from internal conditioning and conformity the freedom ego looks towards being free from imposition from the outside - rules and regulations. This outer restriction of ego means that the freedom ego targets government being the source of laws and regulation as the source that conflicts the egoic need for freedom. Whilst government regulation does conflict with compassionate liberation, the compassion side of compassionate liberation tolerates infringements of liberty for the compassionate good. But the freedom ego has no motivation for such tolerance, the ego demands freedom and focuses on the external. As an aside and for consistency the external aspect of freedom focuses on parents during adolescence as parents are the immediate source of rules and regulations. Upbringing that leads to compassionate liberation begins with a focus on the inner journey/reflection to release conditioning and conformity to bring out compassion, but for some parenting means reinforcement of rule and regulation that just reinforces the freedom ego; clearly the freedom ego contributes greatly to adolescent problems.
For the freedom ego, the need for balance requires an inner journey to release conditioning and conformity; once those attachments have gone compassion is also released. However currently western society is encouraging the freedom ego leading to political movements with a libertarian emphasis. Libertarianism seeks freedom from all rule and regulation irrespective of whether such rule and regulation has any sila. In the system-of-accumulation libertarianism brings with it an additional problem in that whilst most governments are dominated by the system-of-accumulation, it is government that regulates; libertarianism places more influence and pressure on government to deregulate. Compassionate liberation sees a compassionate priority in restricting the excesses of the system-of-accumulation whereas libertarianism focuses on the freeing release of all rules and regulations.
Whilst freedom from conditioning and conformity is beneficial for all humans - as this awareness is path, freedom from rule and regulation can lead to defilement and other egoic behaviour. The system-of-accumulation is based on the greed defilement, and freedom from rule and regulation can lead to excessive greed. With zeer vision zandtao sees greed inherent in the system-of-accumulation, so sees releasing this defilement as priority; releasing the freedom ego also becomes important as the freedom ego contributes so much to the system-of-accumulation.
As with all egos the beginning of releasing starts with an inner journey, stop emphasising the blame on others, release your own conditioning and conformity leading to compassionate liberation.
Activist's Ego
This arises not from compassionate liberation but the choice of activation in pathtivism; this ego arises from activism itself. The objective of pathtivism is compassionate liberation - the embodiment of purpose - consciously love and evolve consciousness. Where is the activist target in this?
It is targets that create the activist's ego. Such targets are understandable as they are motivational. Can a target be achieved? If so, then activism is "ended"; if they cannot there is frustration. Targets are a part of the activist's ego.
Compassionate desire is also a part of this ego. Compassion looks at the world, sees all the harm and suffering, and the ego has an overload. The ego's overload of desires pressurises, how does compassion choose which desire to give action? The activist then has a time management problem juggling all the desires. This creates attachment and immersion.
An activist needs boundaries and balance. As with all egos inner journey is required, in this case to detach from the myriad causes and determine these boundaries.
For a pathtivist the issue is duty not desire or causes. The duty is the embodiment, attachment brings in causes and then immersion.
Zandbagging Boundaries
Follow his path
To promote the embodiment of path - compassionate liberation
To create harmony in activism and its objectives
Highlight and help release ego within activism
Use zeer vision to evaluate any changes in the system-of-accumulation
Boundary guidelines for pathtivists
Follow her/his path - airline strategy.
Decide with detachment, avoid being pressurised in meetings.
Don't take on organisational roles, the movement is always looking for competent administration as their egos are committed to activity. Avoid being a dumped-on administrator.
When deciding on your activism try to focus on what you are good at
Activism is for life - it is duty - path-duty. What "cause" do you want to focus your life on? Remember the airline - path is first.
