But my deliberations left me not being a No AI purist:-

Google legally responsible for AI Overview errors in Germany - 16.16.
Lazy lawyers kicked out of court for using AO that cited non-existent cases - AI Lies are Finally Getting Punished.
zandtao liked duckduckgo if he were after AI-free references - leaves it open.
AI overview is only 91% accurate - he had already realised that it had errors.
He is not a purist and likes the AI Overview - even with its limitations.

As zandtao he has usually used Google search when writing - akin to the research of library searches in his youth. Since the AI bubble became mainstream he has continued to use Google AI search, and to be honest he has found the answers so much better. At one stage he started to quote the searches only to find that the same questions elicited different answers on different days - not particualrly useful as a research quote. For full transparency zandtao notes that he continues to use this Google AI search - maybe pure "noai" means he should change. He keeps a record of AI issues arising from Google AI - most recently a Xizang/Tibet issue.

What does he mean by No AI? zandtao does not write using AI - he believes that it is possible to feed all writings into AI software, then key in new ideas and the AI could write a blog. zandtao finds this distasteful, all his writing is "original". At the same time if he is reading a book or listening to a clip he reads the original book or listens to the clip; he does not use AI summaries.

zandtao saw this list on Democracy Now; he joined the list through a contact form that he cursorily filled in - have no access until they reply. Where will this go?

Karen Hao fronted this list on Democracy Now. She published a book on "Empire of AI" about Techbro culture specifially Sam Altman - previously discussed on Democracy Now .

Quite a while later (14/6/26) nothing has happened with this list.

None of zandtao's writing comes from AI. zandtao looked for a symbol from a broad "No AI" movement but couldn't find such a movement see article . If zandtao's online work has been "incorporated" by AI, then that is because he is putting work in the public domain by choice - and not because he has intentionally submitted it to AI.

zandtao considers the depth of the inner journey as integrally important to human development, and asks that we look at original material and not synopses created by others nor by AI.
