 AI - a Zeersight 
None of zandtao's writing is by AI - it will NEVER be, his usage is research (see AI Usage). zandtao looked for a symbol from a broad "No AI" movement but couldn't find such a movement see article . If zandtao's online work has been "incorporated" by AI, then that is because he is putting work in the public domain by choice - and not because he has intentionally submitted it to AI. As a consequence of AI zandtao has started offline journalling; he used to put development work online - hopefully without errors. This consequence also fit in with his perception that his writing instead of being he hoped useful for quest is now more niche.
zandtao has a strong spiritual insight position - zeersight - concerning AI. There is so much that AI cannot be - this zandtao sums up as spiritual. It is most easily understood through zandtao's 2 themes of practice:-
From zandtao 's position AI cannot have consciousness. Even though the limited Techbros describe AI with consciousness (intelligence - general intelligence); this is best understood within reasoning based on "a huge amount of data"; consciousness gives insight immediately the way nature intended. This zeersight is well summed up with this gabiK short. For zandtao this zeersight is primary against AI - how can AI be awakened?
Let us focus humanity on becoming awakened - in a caring way leave the rest to AI? zandtao considers the depth of the inner journey as integrally important to human development, and asks that we grapple with original material and not synopses created by others nor by AI.

AI Usage
AI usage developed from my use of search. Without realising it was an AI-intrusion, zandtao learnt that a Google search was introduced by a summary that was from AI - Gemini. zandtao found this useful. Search was primarily for research for his spiritual writing - even when zandbagging his writing is not usually current but zand-hegemonic and its relation to activism. His writing is NEVER AI but research can be deep or searching for facts. Deep research would be looking at his teachers - Nicola Amadora, Teal Swan, Eckhart Tolle, Gabi Kovalenko (early), Ajaan Buddhadasa , in which case he studies books or often transcribes clips and studies transcriptions. There is informational research often looking for URLs, such info used to be tedious - now AI speeds it up as it can be questioned.
zandtao found that such searching became frequent and therefore he felt it was contributing to the AI; he decided to go proton as with much journaling and personal emails. He is not sufficiently computechnical but he understands that proton is the best way to be private - even using their AI is away from AI. Luckily his desire for privacy is not based on his content being nefarious or seditious but just a cantankerous old development.
AI - a zandbag position
For zandtao the craziness surrounding AI is concerned with the need for investment. Along came these Techbros with zifi unrealities but investment needed a place to go, and in they went. This is the 2nd computer bubble, the first being dotcom that led to the crash of 2008. Legitimate utube sceptics are already shouting about money being lost but it makes no difference. Somehow these investments are making a profit, or they wouldn't do it. This is part of the hegemonic investment economics that somehow still provides profits for the accumulation. not the economic that governs the ordinary supply and demand, transactional economics that puts so many of us in debt.
This investment is hegemonic for the West so we can have little impact. Somehow we have to try and inure ourselves to the worst of AI - the job losses, the ensuing crash when investment starts being used for fantasy-images - sub-prime loans, "invisible cuddly security blankets". Jobs is the human priority but what can really be done when Techbros are so crazy - lost their compassion.
And then there are the guardrails that have already been crashed through. There is nothing in the pipeline such as Asimov's 3 Laws of Robotics. On top of that AI is being used to kill people in war. It started with the automatic weapons of drones - now so prevalent in the two hegemonic war platforms of the Middle East and the Russian Front. Apparently AI is being used in the war against Iran - and vice versa?, and conspiracy touts that the 200 primary kids were killed as an AI error - no confirmation of this conspiracy but the deaths are heinous enough without AI being the source.
As with all zandbagging the focus needs to be on awakening community, and much work can be done to bring community benefits through AI - can tilting at the Techbros work when investment needs a place? Maybe focus on data centres but that is also probably a task too big. How to awaken community within a world including AI is an interesting practical activism?
